Tips for delicious meat:
-marinade pork chops in milk (I use skim but anything is fine) for 30 minutes before cooking, and they will turn out amazingly moist and delicious
-when making lamb chops, rub both sides with dijon and then coat with breadcrumbs, rosemary, and salt and pepper. they will taste amazing
Slimming down pasta and veggies:
-When making almost any combination of pasta/veggie dishes, eliminate sauce or oil and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the warm pasta and veggies. It will make the veggies taste delicious and is very healthy
My favorite no-carb/low cal substitute for pasta:
-Spaghetti squash! Cut it in half, remove the seeds, place it in a glass baking dish with water, cover with saran wrap and cut some holes in the wrap, and cook in the microwave. Let it sit for a minute, then take a fork and pull out the squash like spaghetti. Top with a tomato sauce and you have a SUPER low cal meal that tastes just like spaghetti!
