Guacamole

From: SassyErika
Recipe: Guacamole

4 very soft Hass Avocados
1 ripe tomato
fresh cilantro
1/4 red onion
sour cream
1/2 lime
Salt to taste

Cut the avocadoes in half and scoop out the insides into a bowl. Save a couple of the pits. Mash the avocadoes with a fork until somewhat mashed. Cut the tomato up into small pieces according to your preference, try not to let too many of the watery inside part into the guac. Chop approximately 1/3 of the leafy part of the cilantro into super tiny pieces, and add to the bowl. Then chop about 1/4 of the red onion into very small pieces, and add. Add one large tablespoon of sour cream, and squeeze about 1/2 of the lime juice into the mixture, no need to try to squeeze every last drop. Mash with a fork until the desired consistency is reached, and add salt to taste. Once you're done reaching the flavor/consistency you want, add a couple of the pits to keep it from turning brown, and cover and refrigerate until you're ready to serve.

Also, you can make your own delicious tortilla chips at home. Just cut up corn tortillas to the desired size and fry. The key to making them crispy is to drain them very well.
