Layered Bars

From Me and My Luv
Recipe: Layered Bars

Ingredients:
9x9 brownie pan
Stick of butter (1/2 cup)
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (Keebler has them)
1 1/3 cups of coconut flakes
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
14 ounce can of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (I usually buy the Fat Free and it works well - good way to save on calories)

In the baking pan melt the butter (I usually melt the butter in the oven - using the same pan I bake the bars in)

Once melted, pour the graham cracker crumbs evenly on the bottom of the pan to make the crust.

Next, pour the entire can of sweetened condensed milk over the crumbs - make sure you completely cover the crumbs evenly.

In a bowl, combine the coconut flakes, walnuts and chocolate chips (sometimes I add extra choc. chips and walnuts, but you can use your judgement, but if you like coconut, definitely add more of the flakes)

Once you combined those ingredients, pour over the sweetened condensed milk; pat down firmly and evenly.

Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees - you will see the top layer turn golden brown. Enjoy!
