Recipe: Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

This recipe makes a ton of food, but is so good on cold nights. We love this with a salad and italian bread.
2 lbs beef stew meat
1 cup chopped onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of onion soup
6 ounces fresh mushrooms
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pkg (8 ounce) cream cheese, cubed
1 container (8 ounce) sour cream
6 cups cooked noodles or rice
In slow cooker, mix beef, soups, onion, mushrooms, and pepper. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or until beef is tender. About 15-20 minutes before you are ready to eat, stir in cream cheese and sour cream. Mix well. Let cook for an additional 15-20 minutes. Serve over hot noodles or rice.
